Sole Otero is a comic artist, children's book illustrator and textile designer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was part of the Latin American collective Historietas Reales and of the international collective Chicks on Comics.
In the past she has taught illustration, digital illustration, embroidery, knitting, narrative with color, comic and comic strip. She currently runs an online course on colour through Domestika.
In 2019, she won the Fnac-Salamandra prize for her graphic novel project "Naftalina", which was published in 2020 through Random House. In 2023 the same book was awarded during the Angoulême festival with the Prix du public France TV.
